déchirée | a mental health poem against vampires

and they bleached their hands

do you know why they bleached their hands

I told you about my blood

it’s invisible now

but I still lost it

I still feel the loss and the pain

that I’ve told you about

confiding in you

and you say show me again

show me again

and you can’t do it

stand still

but you can’t go back

you know what I’m talking about

bleach in your brain

bleach in your memory

they tear and tear

and show you a blank page

and say nothing ever happened, see

sometimes, peace requires action

and you never moved

and that’s all I needed to see
