he put his mouth on her
and swallowed her face
*
he smothered her
with images of herself
that alienated her
and yet she knew how to perform them
*
he wanted her to play along
she was expected to comply
and opened up her shirt
against the warning within her chest
*
boys have dreams she read news for girls
men have fantasies she read news for girls
they expect reality to serve them on a silver platter
sex-girls embodied | manufactured boys-appetite
she had never seen a girl ask
she had never seen a woman demand
she didn’t see boys read for girls’ pleasure
girls around her locked everything they didn’t know they wanted
deep inside their bodies
porn was a projection played out on their skin
eating its way through the soul
breaking hearts in two
and they became directors of their own bodies
posing holding focused hold hold h o l d it – there
she let him happen
inside of her
